The dust bin automatically emptys itself and you don't need to worry about emptying it frequently.
You can also mark areas that you do not want the robot to enter like power cords or pet toys. This feature is typical of robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your home require more attention.
You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60, 75 or 90 minutes to automatically empty its dust bin. This is an enormous improvement over other robots that have to be returned on a regular basis and manually emptying the bin to save time.
In my tests in my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted 110 minutes on one run that's higher than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.
